El Abasto, Torrontés 2021

Sitting in the heart of Argentina's Mendoza region, El Abasto is tucked away in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. It's headed up by winemaker Ruben Ruffo, who is a big believer that attention to detail in the winery does not have to come at a price to the consumer. Detail and focus is indeed what comes through in his Torrontés 2021. Incredibly floral on the nose, with notes of sweet honeysuckle, acacia and jasmine; it leads onto punchy citrus and soft, fresh tropical fruits on the palate. A very flowery, fresh and fruity white wine.
